CFMEU Queensland (Construction Workers Division) is a progressive union committed to advancing the wages, conditions, and wellbeing of its membership

To achieve these goals the union promotes rank and file membership involvement in the formulation of union policy.

Members are encouraged to participate in direct action when necessary to achieve our policy goals. The Branch also uses the political process wherever possible to achieve positive reforms at industry and government levels.

CFMEU Queensland (Construction Workers Division) has a total of 26 elected officials, organisers and specialist officers dedicated to servicing the needs of our membership. The Branch retrieves over $1 million a year for member in underpaid wages, superannuation and redundancy claims.

Specialist officers provide industrial and legal advice and assist members attending tribunals or the Commission.

CFMEU Queensland (Construction Workers Division) produces the Construction Worker journal and other information leaflets and runs training courses on industrial and safety matters. Financial members are also entitled to a range of other benefits including free accidental dental cover and funeral benefits.
