The CFMEU is also able to pursue complaints for unpaid monies for subcontractors.

If you have not been paid according to the agreement struck between you and your contractor, please see our section on wage claims.

Remember that if you are a labour-only subcontractor, your contractor should be paying you superannuation and should also cover your Workers Compensation premiums.

If you have any problems with these areas, please contact your organiser or the union office, however you must be an existing financial member in order for us to pursue your claim.

The CFMEU is also currently investigating ways to be able to collectively bargain on behalf of subcontractors.  We will keep you posted on developments in this area.
