Every year, the CFMEU in Queensland recovers approximately $1 million for members in unpaid wages and other entitlements. If you think you might not be getting paid correctly, you should check with your delegate or organiser about your relevant wages and conditions. They will be able to help you in the first instance with attempting to sort out your issue. If you are not able to contact your delegate or organiser, fill in the downloadable form and return it to the union office by fax or post so that we may investigate your claim. If you cannot download or print the form, please contact the union office and we will post you a copy. Unfair DismissalsPlease note that Howard’s new industrial laws have made it very difficult for workers to pursue a remedy for an unfair dismissal. If you think you have been unfairly or unlawfully dismissed, please download and fill out the attached form as a matter of urgency as very strict time limits apply in relation to filing unfair or unlawful dismissal claims. Non Members There will be no servicing of wage complaints for non members except where a group claim is conducted and in such cases a service fee will be deducted from monies recovered.
